The Meadow Mile - Race Report

Have to post this here, because this had to be m favorite "race" of the year! Jason's school has a mile run every year on their fall festival day. It is called the "Meadow Mile". Jason was very excited for the race!

It was pretty chilly out, so I tried to find the warmest "running" clothes that I could for Jason. It turned out that due to the rainy weather we've been having, they didn't want us to run on the meadow so we ran on the road at the school... the course ended up being about .6 of a mile instead. It think that was good for Jason's little lungs on a cold morning! We ran it in a blazing 6:50! Good enough for a win in the Under 5 division! ha ha Jason was very proud of his medal!
